A recap of the Independence Day Festivities held on June 28 at Glendale Park and other locations will begin airing on Friday, July 4 at 8pm on Channel 16 and will be shown at various times throughout the week.

- Also on 16 - the first concert of Mayor Carlo DeMaria’s Summer Concert Series, the New Life band, will continue to air – check our schedule for times.

- The newest episode of Channel 3’s Older but Wiser, hosted by Jim Sachetta & Lorraine Callinan, features State Senator Anthony Galluccio and Dr. Philip Triffletti of Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare in Chelsea.

- Also on 3 – the latest edition of Channel 3’s Chamber Chatter, produced by the Everett Chamber of Commerce & ECTV, covers the recent Chamber golf tournament held at the Gannon Municipal Golf Course in Lynn in early June.

- The City Council will be in summer recess for the month of July and the first part of August; the next scheduled meeting is the Common Council on Monday, August 18.
|
- The two Little League Championship games held in late June will be shown back-to-back starting at 9pm on Friday & Saturday on Channel 3.
|
- The Everett Literacy Program’s annual International Night, featuring performances and awards to program participants, will be shown on Channel 3 at 12noon on Friday and Saturday and at 10pm on Wednesday.

- This coming week’s Parent University presentation, seen on Channel 3, is entitled “Understanding Learning Disabilities”, with David Stern of the Cambridge Health Alliance.
